FINISHED

Christmas Socks 2018 - well hurrah for me, I finally finished last year’s Christmas socks just in time to wear for this Christmas, what a trooper I am! The pattern I used was my own Open Socks pattern and the yarn, well, I can’t for the life of me remember where it came from so apologies about that.

ALMOST FINISHED

Man Hat - requested by my awesome man, am using the free Man Hat pattern by Haven Ashley on Ravelry and Malabrigo Chunky in the Olive colourway (it is VERY nice). Keeping this project safe in my Fringe Supply Company field bag (not sure where I got it from in the UK) which has an I love crochet pin on it from Lanaboushop on Etsy.

NEW PROJECT

I’ve started my Christmas socks for this year now and love them so much already, I can’t put them down!

I’m using the Christmas limited edition Signature 4ply sock yarn from West Yorkshire Spinners in the Robin colourway, you can find it here and it sure is lovely.

I’ve combined mine with another West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply, the colour Turmeric (358) which you can find here and it almost, nearly, just kinda matches the mustardy yellow in the Robin yarn (almost, almost…gah).

NEW DESIGN

I’m currently making a knitted version of my Six Wives Shawl using Black Elephant merino singles yarn in the Mist colourway, it is OH SO PALEST GREY and just like a winter sky in the UK. I will be using the Berry Autumnal mini set from Birdstreet UK for the five stripes.

EXCITING NEW STUFF AND GIFTS

I had some lovely brooches gifted to me from Gina at Rosie Bull Designs. I also bought a beautiful new project bag from Gina because, well, it’s beautiful.

I bought the beautiful (did she make them specially for me?) Woodland Walk stitch markers from Emma @blue_ammonite and I’m currently putting them on ALL the things.

I bought a new project bag (sensing a theme huh?) from my good pal Chrissie at ChrissieCraftsShop because I loved the limited edition grey and metallic colourway (although I think this is now sold out so sorry pets).

Sending lots of possumy vintage love to my darling friend Charlotte @charlotteolivia on the other side of the world mwah mwah.
