episode 63 | fox tales

fox_tales.JPG

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter, we had glorious sunshine here in the UK and it was such a lovely break. I also got to spend the day with seven cute pug puppies, courtesy of my friend Lucy. I desperately (desperately) want one, well actually I want them all, gosh it was an experience having seven, snuffling pug puppies fast asleep on your lap.

Episode 63 Show Notes

You might have already seen this Rua top on my Instagram, last summer when I made it.

It’s a free pattern from Sarah Hatton for Rowan and whilst the original is fairly long and sleeveless, I altered mine to make it cropped with elbow length sleeves and added a bit of gold bling, just because.

I used an aran weight stash yarn from Lana Grossa, I think it’s the merino mix McWool 100 and the gold thread is Twilley’s Goldfingering.

I’m currently making the amazing Diamond Heart Throw from Red Sparrow Crochet. It’s an amazing pattern, really clever and fun to hook and actually super relaxing, even though it doesn’t look it.

I’m using Sirdar Snuggly in Petal Pink (212) and Stylecraft Special DK in Gold (1709) (fabulous, fabulous colour).

I’m also made Betsy a Buddy bunny for Easter, I happen to think he’s the cutest little bunny ever. The pattern is from Lalylaland and I used Scheepjes Catona yarn.

I bought some yarn whilst I was holiday in Stockholm It was from a lovely yarn shop called Fingerborg.

I bought some spectacular yarn from Beehive Yarn on Etsy, the colour is Fox Tales and I am in LOVE.
