I always wanted to make a pair of crochet socks and Clarisabeth (Crochet Cakes) launched these lovely wavy ones so I made them.

It was an unusual and interesting process that I really enjoyed, however my feet hate them, I can feel every tiny knot in the sole of my foot and so I put them in the bin.

I decided that it was about time I made my first pair of crochet socks given that I've only been crocheting for eight years!

Love this free pattern from Clarisabeth's blog.

Copied @craftyescapism and did mine striped because I didn't have any short striped yarn or any yarn as nice as Clarisabeth's sample pair.

Finished them and love them. The second one is much better than the first one but I still love them both equally even though I'm slightly tempted to make sock 1 again .
