STATUS: FELTED AND BINNED

I was gifted this yarn and decided to cast on with it on the way to our 2018 holiday in France.

It’s a lovely pattern but I did my usual thing where the pattern tells you to use 2.5mm needles and I didn’t want to (they make my socks too baggy) and I ended up with super small socks that I couldn’t even get on so gave them to Betsy.

My holiday project for summer 2018.

I love this pattern and these socks but they don't fit! Not even a tiny bit!

I put them on Betsy and they fit her though so phew....especially because all the way down to the South of France in the car she kept saying "I love that yarn Mummy, I'd like a pair of socks in that yarn Mummy" - HA! I think she willed the Universe into making sure these amazing socks ended up as hers!
