I love this top SO much. Taken from my favourite Marie Wallin book.

I wear this at least once every summer, it looks lovely with skirts.

I made the middle size and swatched to perfection on the first try with a 2.5mm hook.

I found the main body part of the top easy and very satisfying but was a bit flummoxed that the pretty edging was worked separately (and also a bit annoyed as this added to the time making the top). Also the edging hasn't got specific numbers so you have to make it as long as you THINK you need it and all of mine turned out too long.

Anyhoo, I managed to sew them on okay and the top is lovely. Even though I moaned about it all the way through, I feel it was totally worth it and I'd made another one again in a heartbeat.
