I started this pattern on a whim to use up some leftover Rooster Almerino DK from my Springtime Throw.

I combined a standard, solid granny square with a cream border and arranged them in a pleasing way and went on to write this up as a pattern that you can buy here. Alternatively if you’re a crochet expert you would probably be able to figure out the pattern from these pictures alone.
