My first blanket from the book Cute & Easy Crochet by Nicki Trench (which I made loads of of things from in the early days).

Ended up being an heirloom treasure for Betsy as I was (unexpectedly) pregnant with her whilst making it and accordingly I made it a bit smaller for use in her cot.

I used the recommended yarn, Rooster Almerino DK, which was very lovely to work with. I ended up having a load of the white (Cornish) colour left over which I used to make a shawl project at a later date.
