episode 53 | supermoon fever

It's December (where did this year go?) and I filmed this episode bathed in the energy of 2017's only Super Moon. Sunday saw the full cold moon rise in Gemini and she was a glorious sight indeed, even if it was a bit cloudy here in Blighty, and I've gone a bit wild woman and off-script in this episode - I really enjoyed myself.

Holiday Socks - these are self-designed using a pretty dot stitch from 400 Knitting Stitches by Potter Craft. I'm using 2.25mm needles and Aegean Sea sock yarn from Betsy Makes on Etsy. I'm going to use the pattern to make a pair for Darren in a solid colour yarn and will launch the pattern for free early next year.

Hay Sweater by Clare Mountain. I got the pattern from Laine Magazine Issue 3 and I'm using Drops Nord in the colour Plum which is now just £1.45 per ball.

Small Flower Mitts by Pinneguri. My first attempt at stranded knitting and I'm using scraps of Blacker Yarns.

Socks

Hoppa Socks - amazing pattern from Lena Strandberg and lovely grey yarn from Drops Fable.

Betsy's Advent Socks - using sock scraps and getting Betsy to pull out one colour every day of advent.
